Clinical Psychologist

Chicago Behavioral Clinic is seeking to hire a licensed doctoral-level clinical psychologist. We are a private practice located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago that offers psychological assessment, individual psychotherapy, and group therapy on an outpatient basis. We specialize in treating depression, anxiety, life transitions, career/vocational concerns, chronic pain, adjustment to chronic medical illness, women’s health, insomnia, weight management, and addressing multicultural/diversity issues.

 

Candidates must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and be licensed in Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults, and have solid skills in a variety of psychotherapy approaches including CBT, ACT, and mindfulness based approaches. As many referrals come from a medical setting, a health background and/or experience working with individuals with chronic medical illness is preferred but not required. The candidate will be providing mostly individual therapy via telehealth; however, opportunities for group therapy, as well as, psychological testing (i.e., bariatric evaluations, spinal cord stimulation evaluations, and PTSD/trauma evaluations) are also available if interested. The position will start part-time and can grow to full-time if desired. Consultation will be provided with additional training and supervision as needed.

Clinical Social Worker

The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults and couples, and have solid skills in a variety of psychotherapy approaches including CBT, ACT, and mindfulness based approaches. The candidate will be providing mostly individual therapy via telehealth; however, opportunities for group therapy are also available if interested. As many referrals come from a medical setting, a health background and/or experience working with individuals with chronic medical illness is preferred but not required.
